We believe God is doing something new at Calvary Lawrence, and we're grateful to be part of it.
Shannon and Kristen have been serving together in ministry since they married in 2003. Along the way, God has given them opportunities to serve churches large and small, help plant churches, teach in Christian schools, minister across the United States and overseas, and serve in pastoral leadership.
But ministry has never been primarily about a position or a platform for them. It's about loving people, pursuing the presence of God, and helping people become courageous followers of Jesus.
Shannon is an ordained Assemblies of God minister with a heart for preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and building healthy churches. Kristen is an educator, instructional designer, artist, author, and teacher with a passion for helping people grow in their faith and become equipped for God's purposes.
Together, they have three daughters, Katie, Lanie, and Ollie, and believe some of God's greatest gifts are found around the family table.
"One of the deepest desires of my life is to know God and seek His presence. My prayer for Calvary is that it would be a place where people genuinely encounter the Holy Spirit, become more like Jesus, and then carry Him into Lawrence and beyond.
