Visiting a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions.
Where do I go? What should I wear? What about my kids? Will I know what to do?
We've got you.
At Calvary Lawrence, you don't need to know all the answers, have everything together, or pretend to be someone you're not. Come as you are. We'd love to meet you.
Expect a warm welcome, genuine people, worship, prayer, and a message grounded in Scripture.
We're a Spirit-empowered church, so we also make room for the Holy Spirit to work. That may include times of prayer, response, or ministry. You are always welcome to participate, receive prayer, or simply observe.
No pressure. No pretending. Just come as you are.
We love having kids at Calvary.
When you arrive, we'll help you find our kids area, meet the team, and get your children checked in.
Our goal is simple: provide a safe, welcoming, fun, and Jesus-centered environment where your kids can learn about God and know they are loved.
If it's your first visit, arriving a few minutes early will give you plenty of time to get everyone settled.
Whatever you're comfortable wearing.
You'll see people dressed in different ways, and there's no dress code. We're much more interested in you being here than what you're wearing.
You'll find our parking lot on the west side of the building.
When you arrive, look for the main entrance. Our team will be ready to welcome you and help you find where you need to go.
If you or someone in your family needs additional assistance getting into the building, we're happy to help.
Our Sunday morning gathering begins at 9:30 AM.
People begin arriving beforehand to talk, connect, and get settled. If you're visiting for the first time, especially with kids, we'd recommend arriving around 9:15 AM.
But if you walk through the doors at 9:29, that's okay too. We're just glad you're here.

You don't have to have your faith figured out before coming to Calvary. Maybe you've followed Jesus for years. Maybe you've been away from church. Maybe you've been hurt by church. Maybe you're not even sure you believe in God.
Come with your questions.
We believe Jesus changes lives, and we'd love to give you space to discover who He is.
Your first step is simply to come and meet us.
From there, we'll help you discover your next step, whether that's receiving prayer, learning more about following Jesus, getting baptized, joining a gathering, finding community, serving, or simply sitting down with one of our pastors.
You don't have to figure it out alone.
